William Rufus Griffin Jr.

Mr. William Rufus Griffin Jr. age 83, of McKenzie passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2016 in Baptist South Hospital.

Funeral Services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, December 2, 2016 at Cope-Keahey Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Doug Lambert officiating. Interment will follow in the Old Town Cemetery with full military honors. Cope-Keahey Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 12:30 pm., until time of services.

Survivors include,

Daughter, Audrey Griffin of Prattville, Sons, Kenneth (Clarice) Griffin of Pike Road, and Darrell (Stephanie) Griffin of McKenzie, Grandchildren, Mandie (Scott) Baker of Troy, Heather (Jonathan) Booth of Evergreen, Whitney (Ben) Hawk of Montgomery,  and Travis Griffin of McKenzie, Great Grandchildren, Ella Baker, Emma Baker, Avery Hawk, Gunner Hawk, and Griffin Hawk, Brother, John Griffin of Evergreen.

Mr. Griffin is preceded in death by his Parents William and Roxie Griffin, Brother Bill Griffin, Sisters, Lois Riley, Emma Dearman and Corinne Pipkins, Wife, Jeanette O’Ferrell Griffin, Daughter, Shirley Griffin and Son, Darrell Wayne Griffin.
