Mary Stowers

Mrs. Mary Magnolia Stowers, age 80 of Evergreen passed away Friday, April 28, 2017 at the Evergreen hospital.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at Cope-Keahey Funeral Home. Brother Mike Jones will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday at Cope-Keahey Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Magnolia Cemetery with Cope-Keahey Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include son, Johnny R. Stowers, III., (Melissa) of Crossville, Tennessee; daughter, Kathryan Knight of Repton, Al; Dana Cook of Evergreen; Brother, Bill Mancil of Andalusia;

3 grandchildren, John Knight, Charley Knight, Catherine Bayha, 5 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Stowers was a member of the Evergreen Church of Christ and was employed with the Conecuh County School System for 28 years. Most of those years she served as the secretary for the Marshall Middle School. She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Raymond Stowers in 2010.
