James Houston Hawsey

Mr. James Houston Hawsey age 88, of Evergreen passed away Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at Georgianna Hospital.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, October 20, 2017 at Cope Keahey Chapel with Rev. Farron Smith and Rev. Jackie Davis officiating. Visitation will be held at 1 p.m. at Cope Keahey Chapel. Interment will follow in the Bowles Assembly Church Cemetery.

Mr. Hawsey is survived by his wife of 48 years: Nannie Lee Hawsey of Evergreen, daughter: Jennifer (Chris) Reed of Prattville, Brother Sam (Sue) Hawsey of Evergreen, Sisters: Shirley Carroll of Gadsden Al., Sandra Hawsey of Columbus GA., Diane Harper of Monroeville, Grandchildren: Anthony (Lynda) Varner of Evergreen, Chris Varner of Evergreen, Austin Reed and Landon Reed of Prattville.

Mr. Hawsey was preceded in death by his daughter: Dorothy Kay Hawsey, sister: Dorothy Phelps and brother: Garvin Hawsey.
