Mr. William “Bill” Ivey of Evergreen passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2020, at Evergreen Health and Rehab. He was 80.
Mr. Ivey owned and operated Ivey Chevrolet with his father for many years until it closed in 1981. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed hunting. He also cherished his loved ones and will be deeply missed.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, December 3, 2020, in the Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to services. Rev. Mark Whittington will officiate. Cope-Keahey is entrusted with these arrangements.
Left to cherish his memory, loving wife of 36 years, Rita Hamrac Ivey of Evergreen, Son, William T. Ivey (Alex) of Spanish Ft., daughter, Susan I. Wiggins (Bentley) of Brewton, Sister, Julia Ivey Brantley of Columbus, Ga, Grandchildren, Rylan Wiggins, Holder Wiggins, and Ivey Wiggins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Thaddeus Ivey and Mary Julia Wild Ivey.
