Hunting 04

William Jackson Baggett

January 25, 1957 ~ October 24, 2020 (age 63)

Mr. William Jackson “Jack” Baggett of Evergreen passed away Saturday, October 24, 2020. He was 63.

Jack will be greatly missed by his family and friends. His immense love for his family was always apparent. He adored his grandchildren and spent as much time as possible with them. Jack had a passion for life and lived it to its fullest. Friendship meant loyalty, belly laughs and being there if you needed him. Time spent with Jack always made your day better.

In addition to his family and friends he loved being outdoors. Jack was a lifelong hunter, fisherman and gardener. He found peace and happiness tending his garden and putting fresh vegetables on the table. Sitting on his brothers dock with a line in the water was one of his favorite pastimes. Of course, catching the biggest fish topped everything!

Jack was also an avid arrowhead hunter. He spent many hours walking the land, head down, eyes peeled. He was great at finding just the right spot. He loved digging a hole and sitting there all-day sifting through the dirt to find a prized arrowhead. His passion for arrowheads led him to learn the skills of making them and he became very good at it.
