Mr. Tommy Wayne Jones, age 76 of Castleberry passed away Friday, August 29, 2025.

Mr. Jones is preceded in death by the mother of his children, Sharon Bethune Jones in 2020.

Tommy served many capacities in the Castleberry Strawberry Festival for many years. Tommy was also the Castleberry Santa Claus for numerous years. He also spent countless days making sure the town was ready for the holidays and festival. Tommy loved to visit New Mexico and other places hunting big Elk and Alabama deer hunting.

Funeral services will be held 3:30pm, Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at Cope-Keahey Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services. Internment will follow in Holland Cemetery. Cope-Keahey directing.

Survivors include, wife, Karen Hester Jones; daughters, Denise Collins (Tony) of Theadore, AL, Teresa Eversman (Ed) of Bay Minette, AL; brother, Robert Jones of Perdido, AL; sister, Shelia Jones of Pensacola, FL; 4 grandchildren, Travis Snider, Tristan Snider, Kristen Eversman, Amanda Eversman; 1 great grandchild, Maya Dunn.
