Sherry Lynn (Bolton) Salter

Mrs. Sherry Lynn Salter, passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2021, in Fairhope, AL. She was 72 years old.

The celebration of her life services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Cope-Keahey Funeral Home chapel, with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m.  Her inurnment at the Lone Star Cemetery will follow the service.  Cope-Keahey Funeral Home is entrusted with these arrangements.

 Sherry loved going to the beach to enjoy the sun, sand, and fresh season food.  She was a big fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide football team.  Music was an essential part of her fun a vibrant personality.  She was a kind person that was friendly, with a contagious smile.  

 Sherry worked for the Conecuh County Engineering Department, before joining her father at Bolton Oil Company, then retiring from Middleton Oil Company.  

Sherry was preceded in death by her parents Warren E. Bolton and Clara Dean Bolton, daughter Cynthia Dean Moses, and brother John W. Bolton.

 Sherry is survived by her loving husband Ricky Salter of Evergreen; her son, Chris (Cindy) Barlow of Tequesta, FL; her sister, Gaynor Bolton of Pace, FL; her grandchildren, Ashley Mitchell of Evergreen, AL, Dagon Moses of Australia, Kyle and Kayla Barlow of Tequesta, FL; Great-Grandchildren, Luke Pipkin of Evergreen and Rory Moses of Australia; the following nieces and nephews:  Brian and Crystal (Jeff Wilson) Bolton; Jesse and Jake Adams; Jeff Barlow; Amanda, Rachael, Martha and Ben Barlow; and Jeremey and Krista Ealum; and many additional relatives and dear friends.
