Mr. Septra “Sep” Edward Powell of Evergreen passed away, April 13, 2025 at the Evergreen Medical Center. He was 70.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at Cope-Keahey Funeral Home. Rev. Steven Sanders will officiate. Interment will follow in the Arkadelphia Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 pm. until 8 pm., Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at Cope-Keahey Funeral Home. Cope-Keahey directing.

Survivors include, son, James Powell of Evergreen; daughter and son-in-law, Dr. Hector and Angela Powell Salemi of Evergreen, grandchildren, Matt Salemi and Ella Salemi, both of evergreen; sister, Martha Crosby of Evergreen; brothers-in-love and sisters-in-love, Patsy Bush of Evergreen, Sandra Bush of Georgiana; Bobby Bush of McKenzie, Farron Bush of Hobo Bend, Ray and Phyllis Bush of McKenzie, Ken Bush and Glynn Shelfer of Daytona Beach, FL, Paul and Carol Bush of Friendship, and Charlie Bush of Evergreen. 

Preceded in death by parents, Edward Bernard and Martha; wife, Ann Bush Powell, sisters, Joyce Hooks and Margie Driver; sisters-in-love, Dianne Bush; brothers-in-love, Leon Hooks, Vernon Crosby, Jack Bush, Billy Bush.
