Sarah P. Kirksey of Evergreen passed away Saturday, October 25, 2025 at West Florida Hospital. She was 78.

Prior to retirement, Sarah was a loan processor at the Bank of Evergreen for twenty years. She was a long-time member of the Evergreen community and was deeply loved by her family and friends.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 30, 2025 at Cope-Keahey. The family will receive friends at 1:00pm at the funeral home. Service will be held at 2:00pm in the chapel. Interment will follow in the Old Town Cemetery. Cope-Keahey directing.

Survivors include: sons, Johnny (Leeanne) Kirksey of Evergreen, Donnie (Kim) Kirksey of Evergreen and Ricky Kirksey of Uriah, sister, Joyce Sellers of Mobile, grandchildren, Amber Kirksey, Kortlann Kirksey, Amyah Kirksey, RJ Kirksey, Harlow Kirksey, Olivia Lanham and Alexis Lanham.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard Lee Phillips and Mary Sullivan Phillips, husband, Donald (“Gabby”) Kirksey, Sr., and grandson, Dawson Kirksey.
