Ronald Talmadge Golson

Mr. Ronald Talmadge Golson of Evergreen passed away Friday June 24, 2022 in Monroeville, AL. He was 75.

Ron was born August 6, 1946 to the late Mylous Talmadge and Ruby Nell Golson in Evergreen. He graduated Lyeffion High School in 1964. Ron briefly attended Auburn University before enlisting in the United States Army as a private in Field Artillery Branch. He received a direct commission to officer in Veitnam and served as an Army fixed wing pilot.

Graveside services will be held 10:30 am., Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at Chappelle Cemetery with full military honors. Rev. Bill Bodiford officiating. Cope-Keahey Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include, sister, Gail Risher (Wayne) of Evergreen, brother, Ellis Golson (Rachel) of Dothan, and several nieces and nephews.

In leiu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Mission 22 or to a charity of ones choice.
