Mr. Richard R. Sheffield of Evergreen passed away Thursday, March 7, 2024. He was 75. Funeral services will be held 2pm., Monday, March 11, 2024, at Cope-Keahey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Mt. Union Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm., Sunday, March 10, 2024 at Cope-Keahey Funeral Home. Rev. Thomas Andrew Smith will officiate.

Survivors include, sons, Richard Hilton (Amanda) Sheffield of Georgiana and Wesley (Elizabeth) Sheffield of Evergreen daughter, Lynda (Anthony) Varner of Evergreen; Grandchildren, Matthew (Brittany( Sheffield, Jonathan Sheffield, Brian Sheffield, Summer Sheffield, James Bass, Joseph Sheffield, Emily Schaecher; great grandchildren, Emory Sheffield and Skylar Sheffield.

Mr. Sheffield is preceded in death by his wife, Carol Eye Sheffield; parents, Hilton and Lillie Ree Robinson Sheffield; brothers, Donald Sheffield, Lamar Sheffield, Lavon Sheffield, John Sheffield; sister, Nell Ree Gantt.
