Rex Mason McIntyre Obituary

Mr. Rex Mason McIntyre, of Cantonment, passed away Saturday, January 6, 2024, at Sodalis Assisted Living in Pensacola. He was 85.

Mr. McIntyre served 33 years as a Florida Highway Patrolman and retired as a Captain. He enjoyed watching college football and cheering on Florida State Siminoles.

Graveside services will be held 2 pm., Saturday, January 13, 2024, at Herbert Cemetery. Rev. Edward Robinson will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the Cope-Keahey Funeral Home. Cope-Keahey Funeral Home directing.  

Left to cherish his memory, loving wife, Pat McIntyre of Cantonment, FL, daughters, Lisa McCullough (Richard) of Cantonment, FL, Linda McIntyre of Milton, FL and Lesley Johnson (Rick) of Milledgeville, GA, 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Mr. McIntyre was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh Frank McIntyre and Effie Lucile Mason McIntyre, brother, George Newton McIntyre and sister, Mary Ann McIntyre.
