Rafael J. Toledo

Mr. Rafael J. Toledo of Evergreen passed away Monday, September 14, 2020. He was 47. Rafael and his mother, Lillian Lagares, lost their lives in a vehicle accident.

A memorial service will be held 12:00 pm., Saturday, September 19, 2020 at Bower Memorial Church. Bro. Neal Butler and Bro. Wayne Mcmiilan will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the church. Cope-Keahey Funeral Home directing.

Rafael was preceded in death by paternal grandfather, David Toledo, Sr., and paternal grandmother, Maria Colon' de Toledo; maternal grandfather, Rolando Zapata, Sr., and maternal grandmother, Clara Virgen Sierra Zapata; mother, Lillian Lagares, sister, Melissa Toledo Vega and uncles, Carlos Zapata, Domingo Toledo and Miguel Toledo; aunt, Yolanda Toledo and cousin, Michelle Toledo.
Rafael was born February 4, 1973 in Bronx, New York. Those who knew him best described him as a "wrestling maniac!". He loved wrestling! He loved his wife and son unconditionally and will be greatly missed.
