Mr. Perry Coy Foley, age 87, born April 1, 1939 and passed away Monday, May 18, 2026.

 

Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at Witherington Cemetery.

 

Mark Sherman officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at Cope-Keahey Funeral Home.

 

Serving as pallbearers will be Ross McKinley, Perry Gorum, Tyler Davis, Foster Brown, Opal Foley and Jim Foley. Cope-Keahey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

 

Coy was a truck driver for Pugh & Sons in Evergreen for many years; when he retired they gave him the steering wheel out of his truck that he cherished very much. He never met a stranger and was always willing to talk. Pop (as everyone called him) loved his family.

 

Preceded in death by Father Pink Foley & Mother Jaine Joyner Foley; spouses, Mamie Tolbert Foley and Thelma Gorum Foley. Sons, Ray Tolbert, Michael Tolbert, Alvin Tolbert and Larry Tolbert. Daughter Joan Ketchum. Grandchildren Christopher Tolbert and Alison Brown Ference. Great Grandson Holden Hinote and Brother J.T. Foley.

 

Survivors include, son Lavon Tolbert of Excel; daughters, Renea McKinley of Peterman, Cindy Eggers of Evergreen, Diane Tolbert of Huntsville, Joyce Jones of Morristown, TN; sisters, Dorothy Sexton of McKenzie and Betty Foley of Florala; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and other family members and friends. A very treasured niece and nephew, Opal Foley and Jim Foley
