Ola Mae (Lee) Coleman

Mrs. Ola Mae Coleman was born April 26, 1940. She entered Heaven’s gate on August 15, 2021. She was 81.

A devoted wife, mother and homemaker. She was a tremendous cook, enjoyed her family, reading, music, working in her flower and vegetable garden, and relaxing on her front porch.

Ola Mae was preceded in death by her loving husband of 44 years, Russell Coleman, her sisters, Elosie Seales, Mary Lowe, Betty Jones, Brother, C.J. Lee and parents L.K. and Annie Bell Smith Lee. 

Ola Mae is survived by her 7 Children and their spouses, Stephanie (George) Ledoux of Baton Rouge, La., Russell (Mary) Coleman of Foley, Al., William (Nancy) Coleman of Hammond, La., Shelia (Michael) Bennett of Ponchatoula, La., Susan (John) Thomas of Albany, La., Brian (Tamami) Coleman of Fredericksburg, Va., and Vicki (Stacey) McCartey of McKenzie, Al. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren, her sister, Virginia Green, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. 

Mrs. Ola Mae’s wishes will be honored with a private service for immediate family members. Interment will be 12:30 pm., August 20, 2021 in the Flat Rock Community Cemetery in Evergreen, Al. Caleb Miller will be officiating. 

Therefore, you too have grief; but I will see you again, and your heart will rejoice, and no one will take your joy away from you. John 16:22

Serving as pallbearers will be her grandsons, Eric Coleman, Austin Thomas, Christopher Coleman, Bradley Ledoux, Josh Thomas, and Lucas Coleman.
