Norma Jane Godwin Obituary

Mrs. Norma J. Godwin passed away peacefully at home with her husband by her side Wednesday, December 25, 2019. She was 78.

 A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m.  Friday, December 27, 2019 at Cope Keahey Chapel with Rev. Dudley Godwin officiating. Special music will be provided by Willette Phillips. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services. Interment will follow in the Godwin family cemetery.

Survivors include her loving husband of fourteen years, Rev. Dudley Godwin of Evergreen; son, Nathan (Susan) Kennedy of Chelsea, AL.; daughters, Denise (Braxton) Gunter of Centerville, Mitzi (Richie) Davis of Meridian, Tiffani (Steven) Hood of Tuscaloosa; sister, Wilodyne Barnette of Brewer; 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents Clyde Schumpert and D-Arca Johnston.
