Obituary
Neilsen Dakota Salter, passed away Monday, July 10, 2023. He was 32.
Neil was a caring father, son, and friend. He loved the Crimson Tide. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and the outdoors. Mostly, Neil enjoyed the precious memories he made with his son, Marshall.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am., Saturday, July 15, 2023 at Cope-Keahey Funeral Home chapel. Bro. Greg Smith will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Antioch Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Cope-Keahey is entrusted with these arrangements.
Survivors include, mother and father, Bruce and Julie Salter of Evergreen, son, Marshall Broderick Salter of Evergreen, paternal grandmother, Jeanette Salter of Evergreen, maternal grandfather, Al Saunders of Evergreen, sister, Sara Johnson of Excel, uncles, Donald Salter (Olene) of Evergreen and Russ Saunders of Evergreen, aunts, Shelia Stayrook of Evergreen, Gennie Sullivan (Bruce) of Evergreen, Charlotte Mancil (Wendell) of Evergreen and Tina Daw (Jerry) of Evergreen, numerous cousins and many special friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Norvil Salter, maternal grandmother Erin C. Saunders and uncles Gordon Salter and Wade Salter.
