Mary Ann (Holcombe) Pugh

Ms. Mary Ann Holcombe Pugh, age 60, of Evergreen, passed away Monday, December 21, 2020.
 

Ms. Pugh devoted her life to caring for her loving daughter Elizabeth. She was an active member of Bower Memorial Baptist Church. She was very involved in the Children’s Ministry. She was very effective in helping with fundraising in the local community. She also loved to care for her nieces, nephews, and many other children.

Funeral services will be held at 1 pm., Saturday, December 26, 2020, at Cope-Keahey Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Neal Butler officiating. Interment will follow in the Brownville Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11 am., until the time of services. Cope-Keahey Funeral Home is entrusted with these arrangements.

Survivors included Parents, Mary and Edward Hawsey of Evergreen, Daughter, Elizabeth Pugh of Evergreen, Sisters, Charlene (Tommy) Smith of Irvington, Sarah Tolin (Dennis Pittman) of Evergreen, Carol (Keith) Hamrac of Evergreen, Loretta (Scott) Pate of Belleville, and Hilda Duckworth of GA, Brother, Douglas Holcombe of Monroeville and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Holcombe, and brother, Wade Holcombe.

Serving as active pallbearers, Chad Carter, Nic Carter, Johnathon Ryland, Kenny Edwards, Shawn Sullivan, Louie Boley, Garrett Boley, and James Johnson.

Honorary pallbearers, Eric Talbot and Tyler Hamrac.
