Obituary for Mary Boswell Poole
It is with great sadness that the family of Mrs. Mary Boswell Poole announces her passing on Friday, February 12 th at 12:43AM. She was 90. She peacefully died in her sleep, as she went to be with our Lord and King. Mrs. Poole was born in Lake Charles, Louisiana to Clyde and Bunie Boswell. She spent her early childhood years in Montgomery, and then moved to Evergreen for her parents to care for her sick Grandmother.
Mrs. Poole was predeceased by her parents, and her Husband, Walter Raymond Poole.
She is survived by her three children : Walter Wesley Poole of Destin, Clyde Patrick Poole of Brewton, Mary Lisa Poole Wildberger (David) of Mobile, Grandchildren : Mary Celeste Wildberger Thomas (Gaines), David Joel Wildberger, Jr. (Katherine Anne), Great Grandchildren : Mary Stallworth Thomas, Earl Gaines Thomas III, Katherine Grace Wildberger, and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 pm., Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at Cope-Keahey Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Edward Robinson will officiate. A private burial will immediately follow. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
