Mrs. Marilyn Brooks Gravette, of Acworth, Georgia, formerly of Conecuh County passed away March 26, 2022, in Georgia. She was 73,

Graveside services will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, March 31, 2022, at Olive Branch Baptist Church Cemetery. Cope-Keahey Funeral Home directing.

Left to cherish her memory, loving husband, Dr. Charles Michael Gravette of Acworth, Georgia; son, Michael Gravette, Jr. (Nichole) of Marietta, Georgia; daughter, Tara Gravette Vise (Jeremy) of Hoover, Alabama; grandchildren, Michael Gravette, III., Chase Gravette, and Reagan Gravette, Wesley Vise, Mason Vise, and Graham Vice. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lenzy Brooks and Dorothy Marie Brown Brooks and two brothers, Al Brooks and Frank Brooks. 
Marilyn graduated from the University of Alabama with a bachelor degree in Home Economics and had worked as a social worker with the various churches where her husband had served as pastor through the years.
