Joy R. (Jackson) Herbest

Mrs. Joy Ruth Herbest  passed away peacefully Saturday, October 30, 2021 at her residence. She was 62.

Joy owned and operated Joy’s Cutting Edge Styles for 25 years. She truly loved and enjoyed cutting hair. Also she liked to camp and fish now and then.

Funeral services will be held 2 pm., Thursday, November 4, 2021 at Bowles Assembly of God with Rev. Jackie Davis officiating. Interment will in the Bowles Assembly of God Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the church. Cope-Keahey Funeral Home is entrusted with these arrangements.

Survivors include, her loving husband of 39 years, Fred Herbest of Evergreen, sons, Frederick Lyford ( Jennifer ) Herbest of Mobile, Frederick Michael Herbest of Evergreen and Frederick Shannon Herbest of Evergreen, brother, Michael Shannon ( Carol ) Jackson of Mobile, sister, Deborah Cynthia Jackson of Mobile, nieces, Tammy Wynette Spurlock, Emily Carol Jackson, nephew, Kyle Michael Jackson and grandson, Easton Herbest.

Mrs. Herbest was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur Shannon Jackson and Joyce Kirk Jackson.
