John Little

Mr. John Jefferson Little, age 98, of Evergreen, Alabama, passed away Thursday, March 26, 2026.

Mr. Little was born December 26, 1927, in Skinnerton, Alabama, to the late Joe David Little and Maggie Griffin Little. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He attended Larkins Business College in Evergreen, Alabama, where he earned a business degree, and later owned and operated his own store. Mr. Little was a longtime and faithful member of London Baptist Church. He especially enjoyed raising cattle and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his daughters, Toni Bradley (Robert) of Andalusia, Alabama, Debra Little of Evergreen, Alabama, Melinda Isphording (Greg) of Jacksonville, Florida, and Jefflyn Wilcox (Rex) of Castleberry, Alabama; nine grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mamie Jo Coker Little in 1991 and second wife, Katherine Smith Little in 2024; his daughter, Teresa Pauline Little; and his parents.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Cope-Keahey Funeral Home Chapel in Evergreen, Alabama, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at London Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Robert Bradley, John Hall, Chadrick Hall, Rex Wilcox, Bryce Wilcox, and Allen Bell. Honorary pallbearers will be Kyle Null and Eric Bradley.
