Mr. John David “Davey” Legg passed away peacefully Saturday, August 21, 2021. He was 68.

Mr. Legg loved deer hunting and he had a servants heart for missions where he helped build several churches and schools in Honduras and Mexico. He loved spending time with all his grandchildren most of all.

Funeral services for Mr. John David Legg will be held 2:00 pm., Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at the Brownville Memorial Cemetery. Pastor Burke Zach will be officiating. Cope-Keahey Funeral Home is entrusted with these arrangements. 

Survivors include, wife Sarah Legg of Evergreen, daughters, Janean Ballinger of Evergreen, Rebekah Baker of Evergreen, and Lillie Pipkin of Wade, MS, brothers, WT Legg of Saucier, MS, Leon Legg (Cheryl) of Charlotte, TN, Ray Merle Legg (Janice) of Charlotte, TN, Timothy Legg of Saucier, MS, sister, Desiree Pettis of Joliet, MT, Lisa Martin of Luverne, TN, grandchildren, Joshua Rogers, Christopher Rogers, Rebekah Danielle Rogers, Lee Fantroy, Trent Pipkin, Faith Baker and Gracelyn Ewing, and Numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Legg was preceded in death by his parents, Lelon Legg and Willie Raye Pearson Legg and a nephew Randy Martin.
