JoAnne Bolton, 79, of Evergreen, Alabama, passed away on Easter Sunday April 17, 2022 at Evergreen Medical Center.
Born in May 24, 1942 in Evergreen, AL. She was the daughter of Jessie and Lorene Langham. After the death of JoAnne’s father Jessie, Lorene married Richard House.
JoAnne married Ralph Varner in 1957 in Evergreen, AL. He preceded her in death in 1969. She later married Johnny Bolton. He preceded her in death in 2020.
JoAnne is survived by her son Randall (Lillie) Varner of Evergreen, AL., daughter Margaret (Darin) Bohannon of Semmes, AL., son Ricky Varner of Lucedale, MS., and son Robert Varner of Semmes, AL., and grandchildren Shann, Anthony, Christopher, Wayne, Garey, Chad, LaShay, Scott, Chasity, Joshua, Jeremy, Amy and James and great grandchildren Emily Marie, Gabriela, Kenzey, Raylan, Emily, TJ, Cole, Alexis, Jazmine, Cullen, Amberly, Devin, Chelsea, Bobby, Thomas, Haines, Emily, McKenna, Haley, Sofia, Carter, Conor, Shane, Timothy, Jessica, Hunter, Kyleigh, and numerous great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by grandson Blake Bohannon, Randall Varner and great grandson Landon Griffin.
Also surviving is her only brother Floyd (Dukerboy) Langham, one nephew James Langham, and one niece Liz Carrier.
JoAnne enjoyed gardening, shopping, spending time with her fur babies, and listening to music but most of all she loved spending time with her family.
Funeral services will begin at 12 p.m. A meal will be served after the service. Visitation for immediate family will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 23, 2022 at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church and 11 a.m. for extended family and friends. Cope-Keahey Funeral Home is entrusted with these arrangements.
