Mrs. Jessie Hazel Reeves of Wilsonville, Alabama passed away Friday, February 28, 2020, in the Aspire Nursing Home. She was 85.
Graveside services will be held at 1 pm, Sunday, March 1, 2020, at Mount Zion Methodist Church Cemetery in Lyeffion. Rev. Travis Mizzell will officiate. The family will receive friends from 11:30 am Sunday at Cope-Keahey Funeral Home in Evergreen until time to depart for the graveside. 
Survivors include son, Billy Reeves (Leslie) of Childersburg, Al; daughters, Elizabeth Wolfe of Kansas, Janet Gooden (Donnie) of Childersburg, AL; brother, Russell Johnson of Moss Point, MS; sister, Shirley Wilson of Tennessee; grandchildren, T.J. Wolfe, Kayla Reeves, Anna Mizzell (Travis), Alan Gooden (Ashley), Kristina Taunton (Hunter), Kaylee Gooden, brother, Russell Johnson of MS; sister, Shirley Wilson of TN.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ansel Wayne Reeves and a stillborn daughter, Sheila and a sister, Bessie Mae Duncan.
Mrs. Reeves was a homemaker all her life; she was a beloved mother and grandmother and a longtime member of the Pinedale Assembly of God Church in Clanton.
