Mrs. Jemmie Faye Beesley of Evergreen passed away Friday, Dec. 22, 2023 at her residence. She was 82.

Funeral services will be held 11am., Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at Cope Keahey Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Herbert Brown will be officiating. Internment will follow in the Lyeffion Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 - 8pm., Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at the funeral home. Cope - Keahey Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include, loving husband of 54 years Hyram Beesley of Evergreen, Son, David Beesley (Jennifer) of Evergreen, Daughters, Wanda Griffin (Brent) of Evergreen, Beth Cooper (Duke) of Castleberry, grandchildren, Emily Davis, Adam Beesley (Jessica), Isabella Griffin, Savannah Griffin, Madison Griffin, Bethany Cooper, Abby Cooper. Great grandchildren, Willow Davis, Wilder Davis, Ada Beesley, Maggie Beesley, sisters-in-law, Elaine Covin and Sylvia Covin. Numerous nieces and nephews.
 

The family would like to thank the Dr. Mark Roberts and his staff, Southern Care Hospice, and a special thanks to her caretaker, Charlene Higdon.

Mrs. Beesley was preceded in death by her parents Tirus V. Covin and Almettia Daniels Covin, brothers, Mabry Covin and Danny Covin and sister, Lennie Miller.

Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Lee, Wyatt Covin, Toby Covin, Gene Lasley, Buggy Weaver and Gerald Johnson. Honorary pallbearers Thad Lee and Tim Covin.
