Mrs. Janice Driver Dyess passed away August 30, 2021 at the Evergreen Medical Center. She was 55.
A devoted wife, mother and homemaker. She was a tremendous cook, enjoyed her family, spending time outdoors and loved Alabama and Georgia football.
Mrs. Dyess was preceded in death by her parents Wilbur Driver and Bonnie Day Driver and her brother Ricky Driver.
Funeral services for Mrs. Janice Driver Dyess will be held 12:00 pm., Thursday, September 2, 2021 at Cope-Keahey Funeral Home with Sis. Barbara Green officiating. Interment will follow in the Antioch Methodist Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour priot to services at the funeral home. Cope-Keahey Funeral Home is entrusted with these arrangements. Family requests that everyone wear a mask due to covid-19.
She is survived by her husband, Michael Dyess of Castleberry, daughters and sons-in-law, Stephanie and Travis Godwin of Brewton, and Jessica and Micheal Rackard of Castleberry, sister, Kay Jones of Flomaton, brother, Todd Driver of Cullman, grandchildren, Alexis Godwin, Amy Rackard, Zander Godwin, Korntie Godwin, and Caleb Rackard, 3- brothers-in-law, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers will be, Ronnie Dyess, Billy Dyess, Steven Dyess, Bobby Hobbs, Joe Weaver and Thomas Harris.
