Obituary – Jammie Ann Ackley

Miss Jammie Ann Ackley, 60, of Evergreen, AL passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, January 25th, 2026; after a long illness.

Jammie was born at Mason General Hospital in Mason, Michigan to Jane Kalen (nee Baker) and James Elba Ackley on July 16, 1965. She attended J.W. Sexton and Harry Hill High Schools in Lansing. After moving to Tustin, MI; she worked at Fiber Tech in Leroy. In 1989, Jammie gave birth to her only child, a daughter, Ashlee. Miss Ackley moved to Cadillac in 2004, where she worked at Four Winns Manufacturing and Mercy Hospital. In 2020, Jammie moved to Ocala, Florida and in 2022 relocated to Evergreen, AL. She was a proud member of Pirate Krewe of NightKrawler.

She was preceded in death by her stepfather Andrew Kinnebrew Sr., mother Jane K. Rathbun, and father James E. Ackley and brother-in-law Larry Hill. Jammie is survived by her daughter, Ashlee Agar of Livonia MI; sisters Julie Fountain and Pamela Diane Robbins of Crystal River FL, Vicki (Ivan) Mullins of Sun City Center FL, Rhoda Ackley- Spurgeon (Pete) of Evergreen, Kelly Kinnebrew-Hill and brother Andrew Kinnebrew Jr of Cadillac, MI; nephews Kendrick and

Krystchen; nieces Teonta, Serenity, Autumn and Kaylen; and her beloved dog, Bayou. Jammie will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. As per her wishes there will be no service.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Lung Association.
