James Joe Springer

James Joe Springer of Evergreen passed away February 8, 2026 at his residence. He was 83.

Memorial services will be held 10:00 am., Saturday, March 28, 2026 at Belleville Baptist Church. Cope-Keahey Funeral Home is entrusted with these services.

Joe known by his friends and relatives will be known as an avid fisherman and hunter.

Joining The Masons, Zpatching IT to the guys in the community. When he became a Shrinerit was to help 4 young kids. Go into the Shriners Hospital for serious care. Two of the still keep in contact with. But the good part is that they all survived their surgeries.

He is survived by his wife of 62 and a half years, Gail. He is also survived by his son and two daughters, James Edward, Tammy Matzke (Dewayne) and Teri Matzke (Ken); brother-in-law, Wayne (Pat) Norman Decks, sister-in-law, Judy Turner, Georgette Sheetz, Ruth Springer Klukert, 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
