James Joe Springer of Evergreen passed away February 8, 2026 at his residence. He was 83.

Joe known by his friends and relatives will be known as an avid fisherman and hunter.

He is survived by his wife of 62 and a half years, Gail.
He is also survived by his son and two daughters, James Edward, Tammy Matzke (Dewayne) and Teri Matzke (Ken); brother-in-law, Wayne (Pat) Norman Decks, sister-in-law, Judy Turner, Georgette Skee, Ruth Springer Klukert, 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
