Mr. James “Scott” Griggers, 56, of Jay, Florida passed away Thursday, April 25, 2019, after a short battle with cancer. Scott was born in Pensacola, Florida, May 15, 1962. 

He is survived by his Mother, June Elizabeth Griggers; Sister, Donna Tugwell, (John); Son, Cameron, (Sheila); Daughters, Andrea, Corey, and Toni; grandchildren, Madison, Genesis, Isiah, Brayden, August, Wesley and Briana; numerous nieces and nephews; much-loved partner, Belinda Pittman; and many dear friends.

Mr. Griggers was preceded in death by his father, James D. Griggers

Funeral services honoring and celebrating Scott’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 4, 2019, at Cope Funeral Home, Evergreen, Alabama.  Interment will follow in the Magnolia Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.  Saturday, May 4, 2019, at Cope Keahey Funeral Home.
