Mr. James “Kookie” Salter of Evergreen passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at his residence. He was 75.

Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced at a later date. Cope-Keahey Funeral Home is entrusted with these arrangements.

 

Survivors include, son, Scott Salter of Nashville, TN, daughters, Stephanie (Kenny) Bledsoe of Evergreen, Pam Wright of Andalusia and Kaye (Tim) Salter of Roxboro, NC, brother, Gary (Pat) Salter of Jasper, AL, sister, Pat (Benton Jr.) Harper of Evergreen, grandchildren, Tanner Bledsoe, Katelin Salter, Courtland Salter, Blake (Heather) Pate, Breanna Pate and Billy Wright Jr., great-grandchildren, Okannon Cobb, Everleigh Pate, Kason Cobb, Legend McCart and Liam Wright.
