Herbert Gilbert Culbreth Obituary

Mr. Herbert G. Culbreth of Evergreen passed away on Monday, March 21, 2022 at the Evergreen Medical Center.  He was 83.

 

Herbert was born on September 5, 1938 in Conecuh County and was a graduate of Evergreen High School and attended trade school.  He retired from the State of Alaska and returned to Evergreen to live out the remainder of his life.  He was a beloved son, brother, and uncle.  

 

A graveside service will be held 11:00 am., Thursday 24, 2022 at Magnolia Cemetery led by Dennis Culbreth.  Cope-Keahey Funeral Home is entrusted with these arrangements.

 

He is survived by many nieces and nephews; Neil Culbreth, Ray Culbreth, Stan Youngblood, Dennis Culbreth, Cindy Smith, Phil Kennedy, Nancy C. Turner, Connie Howell, and Dianne Escalada. 

 

He was preceded in death by his mother and father; Ina Culbreth and Herbert Culbreth, his brothers and sisters, Ralph Culbreth, Raymond Culbreth, Kathleen Culbreth Youngblood, Dorothy Culbreth Joy, Cecil Culbreth and Bobby Culbreth.
