Henry Allen Gray

Mr. Henry Allen Gray, 76, passed away Monday, Sept. 27, 2021 at D.W. McMillan Hospital. He was a life-long resident of Castleberry, AL.

He retired from D.W. McMillan Trust and loved fishing and hunting. He was a member of Union Grove Free Will Baptist Church and enjoyed playing his guitar and singing.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm., September 30, 2021 at Union Grove Free Will Baptist Church with Bro. Bobby Boatwright will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Union Grove Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the church. Cope-Keahey Funeral Home is entrusted with these arrangements.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Elaine Jones Gray of Castleberry, AL; one son, Timmy (Tammy) Gray of Brewton, AL; two daughters, Christy (Jason) Davis of Greenville, AL, and Doreen (James) Land of Castleberry, AL; three brothers, Mickey (Erline) Gray of Castleberry, AL, Lawrence (Judy) Gray of Castleberry, AL, and Martin (Judi) Gray of Andalusia, AL; three sisters, Mary (Wesley) Baggett of Castleberry, AL, Nancy (Doug) Pearson of Repton, AL, and Dee (Steve) Crain of Castleberry, AL; five grandchildren, Nickalus (Destinee) Davis, Amber (Aaron) Nelson, Houston Gray, Andrew Davis, and Makenna Davis; three great grandchildren, Owen Nelson, Ian Nelson, and Brantley Davis; and lots of nieces and nephews, and his beloved cat “Booty”.

Mr. Gray was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Gray and Alice Huff Gray and his brothers, Clifton Gray, Mulden Gray, Robert Gray, Bernice Gray, Dwight Gray and Huey Gray.

Serving as pallbearers, James Land, David Booker, Bo Jones, Mark Gray, Daniel Gray and Aaron Nelson.
