Glen Norman Suits, 88, of Evergreen, AL passed away on October 25, 2024 at his home.
The funeral will be held at Evergreen Baptist Church (107 Park Ave.) on Tuesday, October 29, 2024. The family will receive friends at 2:00 PM followed by the Funeral Service at 3:00 PM. Rev. Mark Whittington will preside. Interment will follow in Magnolia Cemetery. Cope-Keahey Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Fern Suits; sons Glen William Suits (Tammy) of Montgomery and Stanford Wayne Suits of Evergreen; daughter Melissa Suits Higginbotham (Frank) of Evergreen; brother Darrell Ferguson (Genevieve) of Monroeville; sisters Marie McNeely of Newport News, Virginia, Elva Gay Hubbard (Kenneth) of Honaker, Virginia, Wanda Sue Yates (Chester) of Honaker, Virginia and Betty Jean Hall of Honaker, Virginia; grandchildren Glen William Suits, III (Amanda), John Daniel Higginbotham and Riley Katherine Higginbotham.
Glen was born August 1, 1936 in Beckley, West Virginia to parents William Riley Suits and Stella (Honaker) Suits. He lived in Montgomery until 1998 and moved to Evergreen. He worked in construction as a tile setter.
