Freddie Max Pate Obituary

Mr. Freddie Max Pate of Evergreen (Paul Community) passed away Friday, June 25, 2021 in a Pensacola hospital.  He was 84.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, June 30, 2021, at the Pleasant Grove Primitive Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Cope-Keahey Funeral Home in Evergreen from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., on Wednesday. Rev. Barry Wilkinson will officiate the graveside service.
He was a 1955 graduate of Evergreen High School, after high school, he served in the United State Marines. Freddie retired from Covington Heavy Duty Equipment in Andalusia and was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Andalusia. He loved to garden and was an outstanding father.
Left to cherish his memory, wife, Linda Kaye Pate of the Paul Community; son, John Larry Pate (Kathy), daughters, Monica Michelle Rose of Birmingham, AL; Courtney Dareath Rainwater (Jason) of Knoxville, Tennessee; Lisa Marie Coop (Michael) of Tuscaloosa, AL; brother, Donald Ray Pate (Mary) of Birmingham, AL; 11 grandchildren, Ella Grace Coop, Emmalyn Gray Coop, Eliza Laine Coop, Hunter Jordan Morris, Brendon Jacob Morris, Courtney Gayle Rainwater, Hannah Lea Rainwater, Jayden Max Rainwater, Tyler Wayne Rose, and Grayson Nicole Rose; 3 great-grandchildren, Colton Pate Morris, Brenn Lee Elias Rainwater, Margo Dawn Watson. 
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Ray Pate and Lucy Nell Cobb Pate; a grandson, Ray Rose and a sister, Julie Moore.
