Mrs. Eugenia Kelley Hyde, 75, of Demopolis passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at her home. She was born August 27, 1942 in Evergreen, Alabama to James Chester Kelley and Janie Louise Sanders Kelley Douglas.
She is survived by her sons Trey Petrey of Comptche, CA; Martin Petrey (Leslie) of Fredericksburg, VA; Chris Petrey (Ashley) of Demopolis, AL; daughter Leanne Petrey Anderson (Robert) of Tomball, TX; brother Byron Kelley (Melva) of Kingwood, TX; sisters Barbara Register of Evergreen, AL; and Sandra Watts (Tommy) of Madison, AL; grandchildren Tyler, Ashley, Allison, Bailey, Macey, Davis, and Bayne Petrey; and great grandchild Madison Petrey; special caregivers, who were like family, Rosie Tuck, Pearlie Essex, Patricia Rowser, and Lynette Collier White.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Clinton O’Neil Hyde; and her brother James Chester Kelley.
A memorial service will be held at Magnolia Cemetery in Evergreen, Alabama, on Wednesday, April 18, 2018, at 10:30 AM. There will be a reception and lunch at the Fellowship Hall at the Evergreen Baptist Church following the service.
