Mrs. Elizabeth McKenzie Ellis of Evergreen passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2019. She was 73.

Mrs. Ellis was an active member of the Red Hats, Orpheus Club. She was a faithful member of Holly Grove Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, November 14, 2019, at Cope Keahey Chapel with Rev. Huey Denton and Rev. Jerry Hawsey officiating. Interment will follow in the Magnolia Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the funeral home.

Survivors include husband of 50 years Jimmy Ellis of Evergreen; son, Jadee Ellis of Brewton; daughters, Kim (Dewan) Salter of Evergreen and Missy (Jamie) Deason of Evergreen; brother, Mike (Judy) McKenzie of Evergreen; grandchildren, Emily Deason, Peyton Salter, McKenzie Deason, Jamie Ellissa Deason, and Lucy Paige Salter.
