Dewey Leon Jackson

Dewey Leon Jackson of Castleberry passed away Thursday, September 16, 2021 at his residence.
Funeral services will be held 12 o'clock p.m. on Monday, September 20, 2021 at Cope-Keahey Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m., Monday until the time of the service. Interment will follow in the Holland Cemetery in Castleberry. Brother Mark Gray will officiate. Serving as pallbearers will be Jeff Barlow, John Robinson, Blake Godwin, Brandon Jackson, Preston Reed and Philip Sims.
Left to cherish his memory, loving wife, Sandy Jackson, mother Patricia Harrelson, sons, Brandon Jackson and Preston Reed, all of Castleberry; daughters, Victoria Wingate of El Paso, Texas; Kimberly Reeves (J.T.) of Laurel, Mississippi; Kayle Reeves (Clarence) of Laurel, Mississippi; paternal grandmother, Ernestine Jackson of Castleberry; sisters, Jessica Zellers of Castleberry and Samantha Knight (Barnell) of Dallas, Texas; grandchildren, Ethan, Skye and Logan Wingate, McKenna Dry, Kamberly and Kaden Stubbs and Kayleigh and Brycen Reeves; host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dewey Jackson, paternal grandfather, Burley Jackson, maternal grandfather, Therrel Sims, maternal grandmother, Shirley Sims, special cousin, Theordore "Speedy" Lambeth. 
Mr. Jackson was a truck driver most of his working career, he loved hunting and football and was a huge University of Georgia "Bulldogs" fan!
