David Burt Obituary

DAVID MICHAEL BURT, David Michael Burt, age75, of Evergreen, died Sunday, February 5, 2023 in a Pensacola, Fla. hospital.
He was the only child of David L. Burt and Katie Sue Burt.After graduating from Lyeffion High School in 1965, he joined the Navy and
served honorably during the Vietnam Era. Later in life, he worked for the A&P Grocery as well as Schneider Trucking. Following his
retirement, he served as the chairman of the Southwest
Alabama Water Authority and was honored as Alabama Director of the Year in 2018.

Burial will be at Purnell Church Cemetery Saturday, February 11, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. with Copy-Keahey Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include many loving cousins, dear friends, and his beloved dog, Jodie.
