Mr. Connie Dewayne Harper, of Castleberry passed away Sunday, February 23, 2025. He was 69.
Connie loved spending time outdoors, most especially fishing. He will be missed dearly.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm., Sunday, March 2, 2025 at the Cope – Keahey Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Glenn Tatum will officiate. Interment will follow in the New Home Cemetery. The family will receive one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Cope-Keahey Funeral Home directing.
Survivors include, daughter, Amanda (Patrick) Cousins of Montgomery, step-son, Shane (Victoria) Lavigne of Indian Trail, NC, sister, Jan Burt of Evergreen, grandchildren, Kourtney Gore and Dakota Gore, Jacob, Benjamin, Gabriel and Anna-Kathryn Lavigne, great-grandchild, Noah Gore, nieces and nephews, Brenda Chamblee, Linda Pierce Hinkle, Jennifer Holland, and Terry Pierce and numerous great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by, wife, Joyce Harper, parents, Herman and Ruby Harper, grandparents, John and Vader Fields, Needham and Susie Harper, brothers, James (Bud) Pierce and Delmus Harper, sisters, Linda Karnes and twin sister, Ronnie Hamilton and nephew, Randy Pierce and Earl Pierce and nieces Wendy Lassiter and Anita Gantt.
