Mrs. Betty Sue Morris, 84 went home to meet her Lord & Savior Jesus on August 19, 2023.
Betty was born in 1938, in Wilkinson County, Georgia. She married the love of her life in November 1962. They traveled the world together and had three children.
Funeral services will be 1:00 pm., Wednesday, August 23 at Bowers Memorial Baptist Church. Rev. Neal Butler will officiate. Interment will follow in the Magnolia Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the church. Cope-Keahey is entrusted with these arrangements.
Betty is survived by her husband, Robert “Bob” Morris. Her daughter Donna (Mac) Goneke of Evergreen and her son, Mark (Windy) Morris of Evergreen. Survivors also include her five grandchildren, Christopher Goneke, Erik (Christina) Morris, Leah (Brady) Simpson, Jillian (Martin) Brooks, and Kaitlin (Trevor) Morris.
In addition to her children and grandchildren the light of Betty’s life was her five great grandchildren, Noah, Conley, Virginia, Walter, and Hannah Claire.
Betty is preceded in death by her son, John Robert “Little Bob” Morris and her parents, Minor & Leah Criswell.
Serving as pallbearers will be, Darrell Davis, Christopher Goneke, Erik Morris, Brady Simpson, Martin Brooks and Trevor Wood. Honorary pallbearers, Noah Brooks, Conley Morris and Walter Brooks.
