Mrs. Bertie Bell Ross Pate of Castleberry passed away Sunday, July 24, 2021 at the Baptist hospital in Pensacola. She was 89.

Mrs. Pate loved to fish, attend horse sales and gardening. She also enjoyed cooking for her beloved family.

Funeral services for Mrs. Bertie Bell Ross Pate will be held at 11 am., Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at Cope-Keahey Funeral Home chapel. Bro. Ronald Hall will officiate. Internment will follow in the Brownville Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Cope-Keahey Funeral Home is entrusted with these arrangements.
 

Survivors include, son, Marvin Ross (Eleta) of Castleberry, daughter, Lillie Ross Andrews of Evergreen, brother, John W. Seale of Bay Minette, sister, Ruby Steele of S.C., grandchildren, Christy (Jason K.) Davis, Tim (Tammy) Gray, Stacey (Jason L.) Davis and Jennifer (Justin) Ball, great-grandchildren, Amber (Aaron) Nelson, Nick (Destinee) Davis, Houston Gray, Andrew Davis, Kaitlyne (Noah) Pugh, Ethan Davis, McKenna Davis, Elias Davis and Collin Ball, great-great-grandchildren, Owen Nelson, Ian Nelson, Brantley Davis and baby Pugh.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Narvin Ross (1995) and George Pate (2021) and son-in-law, James Andrews.
