Barbara Jean Godwin

Barbara Jean Godwin,age 81 of Brewton, formerly a lifelong resident of Conecuh County passed away May 31, 2024.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, June 3, 2024 at Cope- Keahey Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services. Pastor Joshua Doss will officiate. Interment will follow in the Old Town Church Cemetery. 

Left to cherish her memory, sons, Donald "Artie" Godwin Jr. (Diane); Wayne Godwin (Vicki); Mark Godwin and Chris Godwin, all of Evergreen, AL; daughter, Mandy Rosensweig (Eric) of Brewton, AL; sister, Aleen Dees of Monroeville, AL;

11 grandchildren, Andrea Godwin, Damon Godwin (Amy), Avery Godwin, Jaydin Godwin, Samuel Godwin, Ian Godwin, Maggie Godwin, Brystal Wilson, Chris Godwin, Jr., Samuel Sosebee, Candice Sosebee, Peyton Zellers; great grandchildren, Avery Sosebee, McKinley Godwin, Murphy Godwin, Caleb Sosebee, Allie Sosebee, Bryant Sabino, Adrian Sosebee. 

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Donald Murphy Godwin, Sr., in 1998.
