Angie Annette Watson passed away peacefully on May 27th.  She was born on September 23rd , 1962, to James Rodney Johnson and Melva Mae Stuckey. 

To know Angie was to know a true warrior. She lived a life that demonstrated extraordinary courage and strength. Despite the hurdles, she navigated throughout her life as a giving and kind spirit.   Angie loved with all her heart. 

We take comfort in knowing that our dear Angie is now home and is at peace and free from pain. 

Angie is preceded in death by her father James Rodney Johnson, Grandparents: John Clifford & Williemae Cook and John & Abbie Lou Allen.

She is survived by her mother Melva Stuckey, of Evergreen, her daughter Cynthia Townson, granddaughters Alanna & Izzy Hendrix.  Her brothers; John (Donna) Johnson of Castleberry,  Bo (Stephanie) Johnson, Evergreen. Her sisters; Barbara (James) Sims of Evergreen, Rosa (Keith) Salter of Castleberry and Penny Honodel, of Evergreen.  Uncles: Ed (Carol) Cook of Evergreen, Allen Cook of Cleveland, AL and Margie Pate, Montgomery.  She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

Funeral services will be held 11:00 am., Saturday, May 30, 2026 at Cope Keahey Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Mt. Zion Methodist Church Cemetery. Bro. Andy Peavy will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Cope Keahey directing.
