Mrs. Alison Nicole Brown Ference, of Anniston, Al formally of Evergreen, passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2021. She was 37.

Alison was a 2001 graduate of Hillcrest High School and was a member of the marching band. She earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Jacksonville State University. She enjoyed fishing and being outdoors. 

A graveside service will be held 11:00 am., Saturday, June 26,2021 at Witherington Cemetery. Rev. Keith Merritt will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6 pm., until 8 pm., Friday, June 25, 2021 at Cope-Keahey Funeral Home. Cope-Keahey Funeral Home is in charge with these arrangements.

Mrs.  Ference is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Willie Sam and Maggie Brown and maternal grandparents, Alfred Gorum and Thelma Gorum Foley.

Serving as pallbearers, Ross McKinley, Shannon Brown, Tyler Davis, Perry Gorum, Rod McIntyre, and Kenny Gorum.
