Mr. Leslie Bernard Wright, Sr., age 92, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by family on January 1, 2020. He was born on March 10, 1927 in Chance, Alabama. He was known as a devoted family man and loving husband. He was employed by Scott Paper Company for forty-seven years. He was a member of Prichard, Saraland and Belleville United Methodist Churches.

A family-only graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, January 4, 2020 at the Belleville Methodist Church Cemetery with Cope Keahey Funeral Home directing.

He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Inez Henry Wright; children: Cynthia Smith, PhD.(Richard), Glenda Huntzinger (Grant M.D.), Leslie Bernard Wright, Jr., Lori Davis (Treadwell), and David Wright; grandchildren: Lisa Iannelli (Damon), Brad Huntzinger (Sheila), Emily Bowman (Caleb), Jonathan Davis (Chantale), Lauren Holston (Jon); great grandchildren, Nicole Iannelli, Joseph Iannelli, Jackson Huntzinger and Brooklyn Bowman.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Cassie Carol Wright, and daughter-in-law, Cindy Williams Wright.
