Willa Mae L Green

Mrs. Willa Mae Lombard Green, age 87 of the Castleberry community went to be with her heavenly father and family members on Friday, November 18, 2016.

Funeral services and Interment will be held 1 p.m., Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at London Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at the church beginning at 11:00 a.m., on Tuesday at the church. Cope-Keahey is entrusted with the arrangements.

Mrs. Green was preceded in death by her parents, David and Eldora Lombard and five siblings. She was also preceded by her loving husband of 67 years, Ralph E. Green, Sr., His children said, “he was a great dad!”.  She leaves to celebrate her wonderful memory, a son, Ralph E. (Pamela C.) Green Jr.; a daughter, Patti M. Adair, grandchildren, Crystal Eveland, Jennifer Adair, Justin Dunn, Joseph Dunn and Jesse Dunn; great grandchildren, Scott Owen Grady, Brennan Joel Little, Zoey Mae Eveland and Luke Walker Dunn; many nieces, nephews and friends.

Mrs. Green was a graduate of Murphy (Mobile) High School. 

Mrs. Green will always be remembered as an energetic, feisty, hard working lady. She was very dedicated to her family throughout her life. She enjoyed spending time with her London Baptist Church family, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a loving wife and mother, supporting the family in all of their endeavors. She was active in the Pensacola (Booker T. Washington) Band Association, Pensacola Babe Ruth and London Baptist Church WMU. She was a very devoted Christian and people knew that by her life and actions. Mrs. Green will be missed greatly by family and friends. She loved Alabama football and raw oysters. Roll Tide!
