Kathryn (Fulmerhouser) Oliver

Mrs. Kathryn Fulmerhouser Oliver age 95 of Castleberry passed away Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at the Mobile Infirmary.

Mrs. Kathryn was born in Reed City Michigan where she graduated high school at 16 yrs old. Moved to California and met her husband James D. Oliver who was stationed in the Navy there at that time. They were married in Ocean Springs MS. Later moved to Virginia where she resided with their children while he completed his military career. In August of 1961, they moved to Castleberry, Alabama. While he began a farming career, Kay built her beauty shop clientele. Both were active members in London Baptist Church. Kay continued her support of the church after Jim's death and her relocation to Foley, Alabama. Her love for the church continued and outlives her now.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 am., Saturday, September 2, 2017 at London Baptist Church. Rev. Nicholas Gandy and Rev. Chuck McPhierson will officiate. Interment will follow in the London Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the church.

She is survived by sons: James Oliver Jr. of Birmingham AL., Gary (Ellen) Oliver of Foley AL. and Robert (Judy) Oliver Mobile Al. 

Daughters: Betty Jo Oliver of VA. and Barbara Oliver of FL.

Numerous Great Grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her husband Jim Oliver.
