Gerald Wayne Ward

Mr. Gerald Wayne Ward age 71, of Paul passed away Monday, September 25, 2017 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at New Providence Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Ellis officiating. Interment will follow in the New Providence Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at the church.

Mr. Ward is survived by his wife: Ouida Ward of Paul, son: Johnnie Wayne (Karla) Ward of Paul, daughter: Annette Ward Nelson of Paul, sisters: Connie Chavers of Dothan, Yvonne Kirkland of Andalusia, Betty Robertson of Andalusia, grandchildren Aaron (Amber) Nelson of Brewton, Anna Nelson of Paul, Zachary Ward of Paul and Madison Ward of Paul.

Mr. Ward is preceded in death by his brothers: Gordon and Elbert Ward.

Mr. Ward was a dispatcher for Triple A Cooper Trucking for over 42 years.

Serving as pallbearers will be Zachary Ward, Madison Ward, John Nelson, Bobby McClain, James Baker, Gabe Chavers and Bill McClain.
